Lions put LB Ekejiuba on IR and sign CB Madison (AP)

The Detroit Lions have put backup linebacker Isaiah Ekejiuba on injured reserve and signed cornerback Anthony Madison. The team announced the moves Wednesday. Ekejiuba, a key player on special teams, had a shoulder injury in Sunday’s win at Minnesota. He signed with the Lions last year after playing for the Oakland Raiders from 2005-2009.

Former Titans coach Fisher visits Lions camp (AP)

Former Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher still has at least one NFL rooting interest. Fisher has been taking in some of training camp with the Detroit Lions, who are coached by Jim Schwartz, his former defensive coordinator with the Titans. Detroit also hired Fisher’s son, Brandon, this offseason to assist its defensive coaching staff.
