Week 11 NFL Picks

There is lots of good value to be found in the NFL picks this week.  The best bet of the round has to be the Greenbay Packers who are up against Brett Farve and the Vikings.  The Vikings form this season has been all over the place, whilst Greenbay has been one of the few consistent teams. The Giants are also good value paying 2.72.

If you are up for a bit of a punt, then the Detroit Lions are worth a shot at 3.30 against the Cowboys.  The Cowboys won convincingly last week, but like many teams this year have been way to inconsistent and could easily fall to the Lions.

Solid Picks

  • Tennessee Titans (1.33)
  • Kansas City Chiefs (1.32)
  • Greenbay Packers (1.64)
  • New York Jets (1.39)
  • Baltimore Ravens (1.16)
  • Atlanta Falcons (1.59)
  • New Orleans Saints (1.20)
  • San Diego Chargers (1.25)

Close Games

  • New England Patriots (1.56)
  • New York Giants (2.72)
  • Pittsburgh Steelers (1.34)
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2.80)
  • Cincinnati Bengals (1.50)
  • Detroit Lions (3.30)

Highest paid NFL players

Determining who the highest paid players in the NFL are is actually quite difficult due to the way contracts and bonuses are structured to meet the NFL salary caps.  The 2009 Salary Cap will be $127 Million up from $116 Million in 2008.

Based on average salary the highest paid players during 2009 were:

  • Julius Peppers, Car $16.683M

  • Eli Manning, NYG $15.285M
  • Nnamdi Asomugha, Oak $15.155

Julias Peppers signed a new six year deal in March 2010 worth $91.5 million.
